2009 Philippines Special Non-Working Days (Holidays)

Aside from the Philippines' Regular Holidays, special non-working days are regularly declare by the president to make way for some Religious and Cultural occassions to  be celebrated in the Philippines. For 2009, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo declared these special non-working days on top of the Regular Holidays:


August 21 - Ninoy Aquino Day
November 1 - All Saints Day
November 2 - Nearest Monday for November 1)
December 24 - Day before Christmas
December 31 - Last day of the year
                         - Eid'l Fitr (Movable date)
